What is Mad for Plaid?

Mad for Plaid is the annual, joint fundraising effort of the PTA and the Highland Park Education Foundation. This year, State Legislature cut HPISD funding by more than $3 MILLION. 

What does this mean for our schools?

• Less money available to educate our children
• Larger class sizes
• No teacher raises this year

We need to raise as additional $630 for every student in HPISD to make up for this loss of funding and to maintain the tradition of excellence of our schools.  Please consider a gift to Mad for Plaid - every dollar contributed stays in the community to support our children, faculty and our schools.
